Brief summary of the month:
Winter 2004 was the warmest since 2002 making it six mild Winters in the last seven years. It was sunny yet again making it seven Winters in a row with above average sunshine. It was the sunniest since 2002. Rainfall totals were well above average, the wettest since 1995. Snowfall was less frequent than last year and amounts were again mostly small. So to sum up, it was a sunny, mild but wet Winter.
