November 2002 was the warmest since 1994 with the mean temperature well above normal. There was only one ground frost in the whole month, the lowest on record. Despite the high temperatures it was very dull with only 62% of normal sunshine duration. Rainfall was well above average, the wettest since 2000 with 145% of the average.
