Brief summary of the month:
April 2008 was in complete contrast to April 2007 being the coldest since 2001 and the dullest and wettest since 2004. Sunshine totals were just 91% while rainfall totals were 136% of the average. The snowfall on the 6th was the highest daily fall since February 2007!
