Brief summary of the month:

April 2007 was the warmest on record by some distance! It was also the driest since 1984 with just 25% of the monthly average. Sunshine totals were almost double the average (185%) making it the sunniest on record, again by some distance. So to sum up it was sunny, very warm and dry!
