Brief summary of the month:
April 2002 was another month with temperatures above average, all four months of this year have recorded temperatures well above average. It was in fact the warmest since 1993. Ten of the last twelve months have all been warmer than average. Rainfall totals were just below average with 93%, making this the driest April since 1997. Sunshine totals were well above normal with 126%, the sunniest since 1995. To sum up, it was a rather dry, sunny and rather warm month.
